A few things worth knowing.
Does Hodos track my entire journey?
Motion analysis happens on your phone. Hodos sends compact geolocated road observations when it detects a potential hazard; your raw accelerometer stream stays on the device.
Can I use the map without turning on detection?
Yes. You can explore already confirmed road hazards without enabling automatic mapping.
When does a hazard appear on the map?
Hodos checks for repeated observations from different app installations before showing a hazard. You can also report when one has been repaired.
Is Hodos available for iPhone?
Hodos is Android-first. An Android beta is being repaired after a startup crash report. Follow the build checks on GitHub before installing a newer APK.
